About Misko

Misko is a bright, curious, and deeply motivated young man. He has always been passionate about science and the natural world, and his goal is to contribute to biological research—especially in areas that could one day benefit people with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions.

Living with DMD has never been easy, but Misko faces life with remarkable resilience, humor, and hope. He uses a wheelchair full-time and depends on an assistant for mobility, hygiene, and daily support.

Misko’s Family

Misko lives in a warm and supportive family of six. He has three siblings, and his parents work hard to create a loving, inclusive home for all of them. Despite their dedication and sacrifices, the financial cost of university abroad—especially with the need for round-the-clock care—is simply beyond their means.
